Another Travel Neck Pillow

Hello Everyone,

I have been busy making our sponsors who are now are very good friends thank you gifts. They made us feel so welcome when we arrived here in Germany and have been such wonderful and dear friends. I wanted to make them personal gifts and as I got to know them I knew exactly what to make.

Today I made a neck pillow for Daisy's dad. He is a big Detroit Tigers fan and I knew this would be a great gift for him. I found this great tutorial at Simple Quilts and Sewing.

Here are the instructions for the tab:

  • I added the tab by cutting a 3" x 5" piece of fabric.
  • Fold both sides towards the middle and then fold in half again. I pressed using a pressing cloth because it was fleece.
  • Fold in half lengthwise and press again.
  • Stitch all around and sew into pillow.

I made neck pillows before here, but, not with a tab so it can be attached to one of your bags while travelling.

I am now working on the last gift for Daisy's Mom. I can't wait to give it to her!!

Last week I made a fur baby coat for their sweet pup Daisy. Holly and Daisy became very close friends too. They love their walks together and sleepovers. I gave it to Daisy's Mom and Dad and they loved it. They can't wait to put it on her when the weather changes here. You can read about it here. Here is the link for the pattern that I used. I can't wait to see it on her.

I am linking up with these wonderful parties, Remodelaholic, More the Merrier and TCB.

I hope you are all having a great weekend.
