Oh – you know that I am a fan of truffles! We make my Oreo Truffles year-round and love making my Peppermint Oreo Truffles at Christmastime and Pumpkin Truffles for Thanksgiving and Halloween, but these gingerbread truffles are just out of this world!

Benefit's Rockateur Box o Powder will help you "pick up the beat with a rush of heat! This rockin' rose gold cheek powder gives famously provocative flush that turns heads on stage and off. The crowd will go wild for it's sexy, faceted design, accented in luxe gold!." Rockateur is the newest addition to Benefit's Box o Powder range.

Cuban Slider Sandwiches are the perfect little sandwiches to serve for get-togethers and parties or even game night and they are super easy to make! These delicious little sandwiches are loaded with ham, roast pork and swiss cheese, then topped with mustard and relish! You better make an extra batch because they are sure to be a crowd pleaser! Want a yummy dip recipe to go with them?

A Southern staple, you'll see Pimento Cheese prepared in almost every variation possible. It goes with ease from the simplest lunch table to the most elegant party.
I made this smoky version for a recent family get-together, and it was a big hit. Those people know pimento cheese, y'all, so I know it was good.

I Will Honour Christmas In My Heart
I will honour Christmas in my heart,
and try to keep it all the year.
I will live in the Past, the Present, and the Future.
The Spirits of all Three shall strive within me.
I will not shut out the lessons that they teach!

Oreo cookie balls have become a classic dessert that looks super impressive but are the perfect go-to dessert or snack! Also great for parties, they are super cute! I love this version I made because it looks like a classic chocolate covered cherry but when you bite into it you get a yummy Oreo surprise!

Waffle Breakfast Sandwich Recipe-Southern Krazed

Breakfast foods are my favorite foods! I may not always eat them at normal breakfast time, actually I prefer them for supper. Is anyone with me on this? Normally, when you think of a breakfast sandwich, ideas of biscuits, eggs and bacon may come to mind. But, have you ever thought about using waffles instead of biscuits? Check out this easy recipe for a Waffle Breakfast Sandwich! Same egg and bacon, but with a twist of a waffle. And, you can even add the sweet taste of some syrup if you want!

The first day of winter is officially upon us and that means soup in this house! soup is a staple in my home now, but growing up that wasn’t really the case. currently i am a huge fan of saving money [who isn’t??], easy and cost effective is best for me! snuggling up to a fire with a warm, delicious bowl of soup is definitely my favorite thing to do on a cold winter night. there is just something so comforting about a big pot of soup, wouldn't you agree??

I feel like my blog has been a little bah-humbug, Christmas is just 1 short week away and I haven't had a chance to do much!
It makes my heart happy to finally get my butt in gear and bring you a cratfy Christmas related post!
I was contacted a few weeks ago by a representative of a company called Burlapfabric.com to see if I would like to receive some of their products to review.
(Ok, you HAVE to go check out their website, they have so many types of burlap to choose from!

Need some fresh ideas for Christmas decorating?  Check out these beautiful Christmas crafts.  Don't worry if you're running short on time this year, you can always pin your favorite ideas for next year. (Just be sure to pin from the original source!)  Merry Christmas!

Are you feeling the Christmas crunch yet? Well, to take your mind off of all you still need to accomplish, I have a quick little craft for you today. I had several readers ask about these Cozy Felt Pine Cones when I posted my Holiday Home Tour and it just didn't seem right to wait until after Christmas to share how to make them.

Fabulous Five Minute Fudge-The Culinary Mama

I’ve seen some people make fudge in the slow cooker, but honestly, who has time for that! This recipe takes only 5 minutes to make and requires NO preparation and the great thing about it is you can make any variations you like to the standard recipe. I made classic chocolate topped with Jaffas and double layer white chocolate with sprinkles.

Being a mom at Christmas is like Super Woman on crack ! We do it all !!
Cook
Gifts
Clean
Elf
Christmas Pic
Cookies and Milk
Letter to Santa.
And the list could go on forever !!! So here i have a few free Christmas printables that will add a unique touch to any room if you just throw it in a frame.

This is such a great recipe and a fun “play with your food “recipe too. Santa Claus Bread! You can make it with refrigerator bread dough from the market, with your favorite bread dough or using the bread recipe provided. You will love serving this Santa Claus Bread to your family and guests. I am a Taste of Home blogger and it is my pleasure to share this recipe with you today.

I have really oily skin. (I thought I’d start you off with a little TMI. You’re welcome.) Mother Nature hasn’t really been too responsive to my protestations that I’m too old to rock the pizza-face look. I’ve been using a knock-off of the triple-step face stuff to no avail, because the real stuff is pretty expensive and apparently the cheap stuff doesn’t work.

I am going to share my Dining Room decorated in Pink, Gold and White for Christmas with you in 2 posts .

Hey y’all! I am so excited for Christmas! Eeek!! Today as part of the Christmas Treat Series I have the easiest best holiday treat!
Every Christmas Eve I make a big platter of assorted little sweets and I love finding new desserts to add in with all the traditional fudges and cookies.
These Glazed Holiday Cake Bites are adorable, festive and delicious. The best part is you probably have all the ingredients on hand.

8x10 Mark & Val3 horiz3
While I sit here in the hospital with my mom, I thought I'd share a really great project with you that my daughter, April, did recently – a dresser turned tv stand.
But then I decided to just have a chat with you. To encourage you. To let you know what's up and that it's all good.

It's been a couple of months since I finished my last blanket. It was a special request by my daughter Nicole.
I was going to save it for Christmas but I was too excited and had to give it to her right away.
If you'd like the pattern please click HERE.

Not only is it the Holiday season it’s the Holiday PARTY season! I think I have said this about 100 times before but I loooove appetizers! From previous recipes on here, I love to make little bites of food. It’s so fun to go around sampling all the different flavors and cuisines!

Our Christmas tree is decorated with special, homemade ornaments that the kids have made at school or helped to make here at home. We’ve found some great ideas for Clothespin Crafts and recently made these miniature snowflake ornaments. They look beautiful on our tree and we made some extras for decorating our Christmas gifts too!

We started out making Christmas trees using Styrofoam cones covered with candy. We were planning to make trees using candy melts, gum drops and M and M’s. But, someone (me!) ate all the gum drops, so we ended up using peppermints instead.

DIY Gold Monogrammed Anthropologie Knock Off Mug-Cherishing A Sweet Life

Who doesn't love something cozy and hot for the wintertime! When I saw this pin, I fell in love with how simple and elegant these mugs looked, but also how they would make the perfect hostess/teacher gifts. Not to mention I get to use a Gold Sharpie and get to DIY a mug, and that I had to make one for myself.

We have always admired paper roses gathered in elegant balls…admired from afar because the price is generally inaccessible!

Our life is full with different interests these days. The fast pace, there is a lot to get done, the routine is intensive, the days goes by fast and before we notice another week is over which was sometimes good and sometimes less.
And what happens on the way? When will we feel a sense of accomplishment or progress? How would we know that we progressed to the place we want? How would we accomplish our dreams and things we want to make happen?
The keyword here is planning!
